Wigan’s a proud, friendly, down-to-earth town, sat right on the axis between Liverpool and Manchester, which happens to be my patch. It’s full of businesses that serve their community and grow on being trusted locally: the trades, the shops, the cafés, the services people rely on. More and more of that trust now gets checked online first, and plenty of good Wigan businesses are being let down by a website that doesn’t match how good they actually are. Sorting that out, from someone who’s genuinely nearby, not a faceless firm two counties away, is what I do.
Get found by your local customers
For a business whose customers are mostly local, the job is simple to say and powerful to do: turn up when someone nearby searches for what you offer. So I build your site to rank for “[your service] Wigan” and the “near me” searches people do on their phones, and I get your Google Business Profile properly set up, because for a local business that little map at the top of Google is often where the enquiries actually start. Being findable round here is built in from the start, not bolted on after.
A real person who’s genuinely close
Being nearby matters more than people think. I can come and see you, get a proper feel for the business and how you talk about it, and you know that if something needs sorting there’s a real person a short drive away, not a ticket number in a queue. No account managers, no hand-offs, no agency runaround, you deal with the person building your site, and you’ll usually get a same-day reply. That’s the difference between a website you feel looked after with and one you feel stuck with.
Covering Wigan and around
Wigan businesses often serve well beyond the town, out through Leigh, Ashton-in-Makerfield, Standish, Hindley and across the wider area toward both cities. I build your site to be found across the patch you actually cover rather than pinned to one postcode, and make your reach clear so you’re never turning away trade or leaving people unsure how far you’ll go.
Who I help
Trades and services, shops and independents, hospitality, clinics, and growing small businesses across Wigan. Whether you’re replacing a tired old site or getting your first proper one, the aim’s the same: get you found locally, make you look trustworthy, and turn that into enquiries.
Fair price, proper work
Websites start at £249, agreed as a fixed price before we begin, so you always know the number up front. It’s well under agency money and the site and domain are yours to keep, with no lock-in. If yours is a larger or more involved build, I’ll price it clearly and honestly so there’s never a nasty surprise at the end.
